Completed in 2017
A space frame structure literally crowns the 56-story Hub at 333 Schermerhorn Street in Brooklyn. Topping the high rise is a graceful space frame design that made the 610-foot skyscraper the tallest building in the borough at the time of completion. A set of eight spires and eight open-air space frame trusses comprise the rectangular rooftop crown, engineered and installed by DSI Spaceframes. The ornamental space frame structure complements the neighborhood’s timeless architecture and when illuminated, creates a new iconic presence for the evolving Brooklyn skyline.
